Burning Desire-The fuel for success

How did some people managed to get up from nowhere doing “impossible things” for others? Can you be one of them too?

Behind every great achievement in this world lies one thing: A burning desire to materialize a dream. Whether we talk about network marketing leaders, artists, musicians and inventors,they  all had something in common: this obsession to succeed ,to achieve that goal or become somebody . This is what makes the difference between a winner and a loser.

Let me tell you something,  each of  us has different problems! But do you think this justifies giving up? Absolutely not.
But,Radu,  I  tried to generate leads, I wrote some articles, I gave 20 phone calls and get refused ,I have big  debts and my boss is killing me. I better give up and stay with my job. This stuff does not work. I’ll try again later …
What do these people think? This is the way to get valuable things?

When you want something so bad that you feel that through every cell of your being there is no failure, bad luck or excuses anymore. You give your best,putting all the  energy and effort to accomplish it. If your goal is to sponsor 300 people in one year, then do everything you can until you reach this number even if you have to deal with lots of failures. This is what burning desire means. It’s an inner fuel that lies behind any success.

In Think and Grow Rich,Napoleon Hill says the following: a person can’t receive anything until he/she believes with all his heart that he can get it. It is not enough to say: I wish to succeed in network marketing. I hope I succeed. Your state of mind has to be certitude,not just  hope. If you haven’t read this book yet I suggest you read it! It is essential for any person, not just for entrepreneurs. In my case, it changed my perception of how far a person  with a burning desire can go.

However, because of the social conditioning and the  negative patterns of thinking, many people are so afraid of failure that they forget they wanted to achieve something in the beginning and they give up. Fortunately, this burning desire can be developed in time by means that are available to everyone. If you do this for a while, it will be impossible for you to give up your goals anymore.This is the state you want to reach:the impossibility to quit.
Here are some practical steps:

-Burn all your ships: don’t give yourself any other alternative. If you really want your own business then remove any possibility of doing something else. Not only it distracts you from your main purpose but it also tells the subconscious that you are not capable to succeed. Are you ready to give up the  long coffee breaks, staying in bed until lunch, going out in  nightclubs or leaving a job that pisses you of?

-Change your environment
That might sound rough, but what good is to be friend with people who have a negative influence on you and they discourage you all the time? Surround yourself with positive and friendly people who have  common interests with yours. The beautiful part is that in network marketing you will always find great people who are ready to help you. Even if the current environment you have now doesn’t reflect everything you want, it’s in your power to create a new one full of positive energy and inspiration.

-Train your mind
There are multiple ways to do this: personal development books, seminars, tapes, , inspirational materials and meditation are perfect to help you create a burning desire for change and for success.Include them into your daily schedule. I am convinced that you have 30 minutes – an hour every day for them,and  these activities will do wonders for you. There are plenty of options: Tony Robbins,Zig Ziglar,John Maxwell,Steven Covey,Jim Rohn and many others. These people’s enthusiasm is contagious .They will highly motivate you,for sure

A constant action grows even more your desire to succeed. It offers means to always go forward, regardless of circumstances.
